Equipment

If it's your first time coming to an archery club, or you don't have your own kit, then don't worry - we have everything you need to get you started (we do NOT condone the wearing of tights).

On begining you'll be shown how to shoot using a "standard" recurve bow - the sort of thing you would expect really. Once you\ve had a few shots of it then we'll introduce you to some of the advances in the equipment - from a bent stick to carbon fibre and telescopic sights (if that's your thing!)

We have several different archers who shoot using dfferent styles (recurve, barebow, longbow, compound) at the club, so if you fancy a go of it, it never hurts to ask!
